Musical Cars - 2/16/09

We are playing musical cars in my family this week.  How do you play you ask?  Well first off Mom (me) buys a new car which I did the weekend before last.  I bought a Honda CR-V because its dependable and I guess dependable is something I value at this point in my life.

The second step is that my Jeep Liberty is going to live with daughter Jenny and the last step in musical cars is that Jenny's Hyundai is going to live with Dave and Jen so that Jen has a car to use during the day.

(not really her car...found this image on the web.)

  1. Nice ride.. with the CRV, you don't need a ladder to get into it - yet it still gives that clear view of the road. =)

  2. It's really not musical cars because everyone ends up with a car. Unlike musical chairs where someone ends up without a chair. (I have played cutthroat musical chairs where blood was drawn - seriously.) Because of your kindness, your other daughter Jenny, who had been without a car is now with a car, so you could call what you are doing Un-musical cars.

  3. Or you could call it Car-Ma. Or, I could just hush up and get back to cleaning so my house-sitter doesn't think we live in a pig sty.

  4. Cor, I didn't need a ladder to get into the Jeep. I'm a tall woman. The windshield in the CR-V seems huge.

Bennett, you're right its Carma not Musical Chairs! If your house is immaculate when you leave it might intimidate the house sitter. Clean is good enough!

  12. My sister loves her Honda CRV. She drove one into the ground (over 200K miles) and then bought herself another one. Hope you like it!

And now, Jenny, you have a fun bus, too! Except, now you'll have to park in the SUV row at the Drive-In. lol

  14. I am so happy for you~ all. It is always nice when you can rotate them like that. I still can't believe you gave up a jeep though. I love my jeep, wink wink ;)

  16. I love the photo of the car underneath all of that snow. I am not sure but I think that snow storm is the same one that our Mayor at that time was Mel Lastman and he called in the army because we had so much snow. Everyone teases him for it though. LOL.

  17. As for cars I don't own one and I don't have a driver's license either.I want to keep my ecological foot print from getting to big.I realize though that people that live in area's that are not equipped with a good transportation system need their cars. My twin sister lives in the outskirts of Toronto and needs a car to come and visit me. :)

  18. I'd love to get in on the musical cars, but that would mean I'd have to give up my truck and the odds of getting Terri to do that are slim to none. Hope everyone enjoys their new ride!
