Did I Imagine This? - 2/24/09

Last night I was watching television and a commercial came on for the show "Medium".  They showed a picture of Ms. Arquette who plays Allison Dubrois the psychic medium.  Then someone said "You too can have an exciting new career talking to the dead."  Did they actually say that, or did I imagine that they said that?  That is just so weird.  I have been told that I could do that if I so choose.

Sometimes you just get messages that are buried in the mass media.

  1. That is just so interesting. I didn't watch the show but I believe the dead may try to communicate with us. I haven't gotten any communications that I recognize as such but that doesn't mean I haven't gotten any.

  3. Anyone can talk to the dead. All you have to do is direct your conversation towards the person that is no longer here.
Also, sometimes the phone will ring and all you hear is static. That is your opportunity to connect to the other side.
Another way to communicate with those who have passed is to connect during your dream state.
As far as a career goes, I prefer to barter rather then go on the monetary route.
    Love,light and peace to all.

  4. Count me in too, I heard the same thing and thought how odd for them to say that.

  7. wow - reading esoterika's comment above made me willy. My Grandpa died in October, but he keeps leaving msgs on Grandma's answering machine...lots of static and his lonely voice saying just her name, "Winnie?" It breaks my heart - does it mean he's stuck here and can't get to heaven???

  8. Hi Kristin.
It is my belief that when a person dies they will sometimes try to contact their loved ones by any way that they can.ie: dreams, telephone etc. After a person dies they go to a different place then tis world and sometimes a person is not ready to leave us so quickly. So, they stick as close to us as they can until they are certain the loved ones are managing alright.
Sometimes there were unresolved conflict and if this is the case they might also try to be as close to those that they love or think need their guidance.
I have a close friend whose mother died very young and my friend told me that she thought she could hear her someone or her mother calling her name.
It is always sad when someone you love dies and it is very difficult to see your grandmother in pain or missing her husband.
I hope that I was helpful.
    Ta.

  9. I agree with Erika Kristin. Just because your Grandfather is staying close doesn't mean he's stuck. He's just keeping an eye on her right now to help her get through her grief. I wish I'd get some phone messages like that.

  10. Thank you Erika and CJ. Grandpa hasn't called since - just a few calls on their anniversary and Valentine's day. It's comforting to think he's just checking in - and not "stuck". I appreciate your answers. Thanks.
