When I was organizing Warren's desk to suit my needs yesterday, I came across this picture taken of me sometime in 1980 or 1981 right before we got married. I can't believe how young I look.

You are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful then,more beautiful now.
ReplyDeleteMust be my Mona Lisa smile. :-)
ReplyDeleteOh
ReplyDeleteMona!
:>)
So that is how Warren saw you! How beautiful you are.
ReplyDeleteLet's not get carried away people. That picture was taken close to 30 years ago. But I suspect you're right Nym; that probably is how he still saw me.
ReplyDeleteI see a slight resemblance . And here you thought you'd only find 40 years worth of check stubs..what a treasure! I love you.
ReplyDeleteYou do have that Mona Lisa smile =). Did you meet him at work?
ReplyDeleteCor, I did meet him at work in 1966. We were friends for a long time before we married.
ReplyDeleteDorene thanks. When I first found the picture it took me a minute to realize who it was. Many, many moons have passed since this was taken. Love you too.
ReplyDeleteAh, so how did he popped the question? or when did you, or he, realized that this was the 'one'?
ReplyDeleteWhat an arduous task... my mother is still finding pockets of things my father had stashed around the house, and he died in '97. Of course, he was the consummate pack rat.
ReplyDeleteLovely picture to have come across, how sweet that he saved it.
Strangely reminds me of some people I know...hmmm. :)
ReplyDeleteCor, its funny but when we thought back to that time, we could never remember exactly when we decided that we would get married or whose idea it was. When the love is there, everything else is just details.
