What to write, what to write? Warren is still here. He hasn't had any more TIA's. He's still eating and can walk around the house with the walker. The changes in his condition have been small. He has pain in his back now from time to time. He has regular tumor sweats. Apparently growing tumors put off a lot of heat and energy and the body reacts by sweating. He needs more help in dressing as his left hand doesn't respond to his brain's commands at all and at times the right hand seems palsied. Life is lived pretty close to home. I can manage to leave the house for about an hour in the afternoons to run any errands that need to be run.
I got my hair cut yesterday finally. Now instead of looking like a frumpy old woman, I look like a frumpy old man! My hair is really short. I just don't have time to be fooling with it right now. I decided I'd better put on earrings today to give the allusion of femininity to my persona.
An artist friend of mine sent me the pot holder in the picture. She made the pot holder, but also drew the crow designs and silk screened the fabric. Its a perfect match for my crow, black and cream kitchen don't you think?
glad Warren is still walking, even with help...
ReplyDeleteso do we get an updated picture with the haircut?
Picture?
ReplyDeleteAll I see is a beautiful person
:>)
I always thought you look like Joanne Woodward. Seriously, I think I said that on 360 when you posted your wedding pic.
ReplyDeleteIggy - not unless I can take a picture of me that I like - Magic 8 Ball says - not likely.
ReplyDeleteTom - Thanks.
Bennett - You did say that but that wedding picture was taken in 1981 when I was a mere child bride of 35. :-)
And you haven't aged a day since. I know I haven't.
ReplyDeleteAhhhhhh the trickster crow... Hope he doesn't pull any funny business:)
ReplyDelete(Still sending positive energy your way...)
I am very sorry about your husbands health. This is a very difficult time for your family. I praying for him to get better and praying that he will not be in any pain.
ReplyDeleteI am sure that because you are so busy caring for your husband that looking frumpy is the least of your worries. I find that I usually go through stages of being more frumpy some years and less frumpy in others. You may find that this frumpy stage you are going through right now is just a phase and soon to change into something more to your liking.
I hope that cheers you up a bit.
Ta.

Erika,
ReplyDeleteYes that does cheer me up. I'm just going through a "frumpy phase". It will soon be over and I'll be the goddess of beauty and light I've always been. LOL
