Heavy duty aluminum foil
No Stick cooking spray
½ cup real mayonnaise
1/3 cup shredded parmesan cheese (not grated)
½ tsp. garlic powder
1 to 1-1/4 pounds boneless, skinless fresh chicken breasts
½ cup Italian bread crumbs
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Line a shallow baking pan with foil. Spray foil with cooking spray and set aside.
Combine mayonnaise, cheese and garlic powder.
Coat chicken with mayonnaise mixture, then with bread crumbs. Place on foil lined baking pan.
Bake 15-20 minutes or until lightly browned and tender.
Makes four servings. Chicken is very moist and tender.
Leftovers are great sliced and put on salads or reheated

ReplyDeleteThat sounds yummy. I never thought of making it that way. I do mine like a shake-N-bake. In a bag I put flour,parmesan,paprika,garlic powder,celery seed,poultry seasoning,pepper. I will have to try yours out.
ReplyDeleteOh, so that's what the recipe actually was. I can never seem to find it when I make the chicken, so I usually just...ha ha...wing it.
ReplyDeleteSounds delicious! I think I'd just add minced fresh garlic to the mayo and forgo the garlic powder.
